Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software like SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process changes.
• Design and implement production processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct FMEA on products involving design, materials, or processes.
• Review product designs for manufacturability and process optimization.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize productivity.
• Lead design of experiments, lean manufacturing initiatives, and ROI analysis.
• Lead design review meetings for new and existing products.
• Create work instructions, statements of work, and manage inventory of spare and critical parts.
• Implement automation, robotic, vision systems, controls integration, and related tooling.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally reach with hands / arms.
