• Pre / Post Cardiac Cath / intervention skills / experience
• Chronic / Acute Renal failure experience
• IV therapy skills / experience
• Medication administration experience
• CVA / Acute Stroke management experience
• Respiratory / Thoracic skills / experience

Description :

Seeking an ICU Registered Nurse with cardiac experience.

The position requires working night shifts from 18 : 00 to 06 : 30.

The unit consists of 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1 : 2.

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are preferred.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend work is required every other weekend.

Floating to meet facility needs may be required.

Candidates should be open to accommodating block scheduling requests.

RTO restrictions ideally should not exceed 5 days.

The client may call off up to 36 hours during a 13-week assignment without compensation for canceled hours.

Special skills required include interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.

Experience in monitoring chronic and acute renal failure is necessary.

Nurses must possess IV therapy skills including accessing ports, arterial line management, and blood product administration.

Knowledge of titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is required.

Experience managing ventilated patients and understanding ABG interpretations is essential.

Candidates will be expected to manage infection prevention and isolation precautions.

Daily census information and other metrics are not disclosed.

This position requires a comprehensive skill set in cardiovascular care and emergency response.
