DESCRIPTION

UC San Diego Temporary Employment Services (TES) is seeking a Complaint Resolution Officer (CRO) for a long-term temporary opportunity. The CRO reports to the Title IX Officer / Director of OPHD and is responsible for responding to complaints of harassment and discrimination. Working under general direction, the CRO :

• Exercises independent judgment in intake, informal resolution, and formal investigation of complaints,
• Develops strategies for resolution of identified concerns, and
• Ensures processes are fair, impartial, and consistent with University policy and applicable law.

Key Responsibilities

Anticipated Duration : 12 months

Compensation : Pay : $50 - $55 / hour, including paid holidays and vacation / sick leave. Full-medical insurance also available.

Location : this position will have a hybrid remote work arrangement, with 1 day per week on-site required. (on-site office is at main La Jolla campus.)

Work schedule : Mon - Fri; 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM; some evenings and weekends may be required.

The selected candidate will be required to report known or suspected child abuse or neglect as defined by CANRA and will be required to sign a Statement Acknowledging Requiring to Report Child Abuse prior to commencing employment. Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range : $88,000 - $161,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent : $42.15 - $77.39

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
