As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong, visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and / or the public with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
