Make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families. Excellent opportunity to work in an outpatient or school setting. This temporary part-time PRN position is based in Belleville, IL, and serves clients in the Metro East area.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities

Provide consumer-driven services identified in treatment / recovery / safety plan, focusing on individual, group and family therapy. Provide services in the natural or presenting environment as appropriate. Demonstrate skills in evidence-based practices such as CBT, trauma informed care, and the developmental stages. Refer and link clients to community resources including schools, DCFS, and other youth and family social service agencies. Help to develop programs. Act as a peer leader and provide clinical guidance to less experienced staff and interns. Provide professional, evidence-based supervision to those seeking state licensure or degrees.

Qualifications

Must have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable). Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.35 – $24.31 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to : job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
