Job description5+ years of experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns. CPA or EA license required. Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state tax law. Proficiency in professional tax software (ProSeries preferred) and Excel. Excellent communication and client-relationship skills. A self-starter with a strategic mindset, high integrity, and commitment to accuracy. Thrives in a collaborative environment yet motivated by performance-based rewards. $100,000–$180,000+ total potential (Base + performance bonuses + client-origination incentives). Profit-sharing for top performers — no ceiling on earnings. Health, dental, and retirement benefits. Continuing education and CPE support. Flexible hybrid schedule after onboarding. Growth track to Tax Strategy Leader or Partner for exceptional performers. Lead tax preparation and planning for complex individual, partnership, and corporate clients . Develop and implement custom tax-saving strategies — entity structuring, compensation planning, and year-end projections. Serve as a trusted advisor : explain tax concepts clearly, anticipate client needs, and deliver practical solutions. Review work prepared by junior staff and mentor team members toward excellence. Contribute to firm-wide growth through client relationship expansion and business development. Stay ahead of evolving tax law and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Passed the uniform CPA examination from the AICPA and possess a CPA certification in compliance with the state board of accountancy regulations Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required, preference to candidates with an MBA 2+ years of work experience in accounting services, financial services, or similar field Care Extraordinarily as respectful servant-leaders who patiently listen, empathize, and attend to stakeholder needs.
