About the Role

The firm is seeking a Tax Director for its Private Client Services team. This key position is dedicated to leading tax and consulting engagements that cater to high net-worth individuals and their intricate financial requirements. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional executive-level client service, review a variety of tax returns, and manage communications with government agencies on complex issues.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in tax planning and consulting, with a keen ability to identify and address the unique needs of clients. This role will involve enhancing technical expertise, overseeing work priorities, and employing analytical and decision-making skills to support clients effectively.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, at least 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or law, and a professional certification such as a CPA, EA, or equivalent. Expertise in private client services is crucial, along with prior supervisory experience.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong initiative, effective communication, leadership abilities, technical expertise, and business development skills, alongside a proven history of developing talent. Familiarity with managing key performance indicators and engaging in practice matters like recruitment and staff development is essential.
