Enterprise Architect
Project Details
The Enterprise Architect will define and enforce architectural standards, evaluate emerging technologies, and design scalable, interoperable enterprise-wide solutions. They will partner with Business Architects and Solution Architects to ensure all IT initiatives are aligned with the enterprise view. The EA will be engaged earlier in the intake process to avoid duplicate investments, ensure feasibility, and maximize business impact.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master’s in IT preferred)
- 7+ years in software engineering or software / enterprise architecture
- Experience breaking down large business problems into actionable technical solutions
- Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise integration strategies
- Experience leading projects or product management efforts
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills
Certification in EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar)Healthcare industry experienceFamiliarity with AI / ML, IoT, or other emerging technologiesExperience in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)Day to day responsibilities
Partner with Business Architects and Solution Architects to align IT strategy with business needsDefine architecture designs for enterprise-wide solutions (cloud, data, integration, security, infrastructure)Conduct risk assessments, architecture reviews, and due diligence for new initiativesDevelop and maintain EA frameworks, principles, and best practicesTranslate high-level business requirements into practical, scalable technical designsDocument and communicate roadmaps, architecture decisions, and standardsEngage in intake process early to prevent duplication, reduce technical debt, and support digital transformationProvide guidance to project teams throughout the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with architectural standardsTSG is an equal opportunity employer.
