Responsibilities

• Assist with evening and weekend operations within Campus Event Services.
• Ensure proper completion of tasks completed by student employees, including furniture and audio-visual setup & teardown in event spaces throughout the Student Union, Student Services Building, Askew Student Life Center & additional locations. Review daily setup information and work with Campus Event Services Coordinators to resolve any potential issues / conflicts with space usage in a timely manner. In the absence of other Campus Event Services Coordinators, assist with lost & found and information desk operations.
• Support evening and weekend building operations to ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed within the Student Union and additional locations.
• Ensure safe, clean, and fully operational buildings. Report any custodial or maintenance issues to building services or facilities and the Assistant Director, Operations of Campus Event Services (AD) in a timely manner. Prepare daily reports on any interactions with facilities, building services, PD, or FSU Security and submit to AD prior to end of shift.
• Assist with live event production support as required, including, but not limited to, sound, lighting, and visual support services.
• Regularly inventory building resources to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained and notify AD of inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience. (Note : post high-school education and / or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of low to mid $30,000's, commensurate with experience and education.
