Job descriptionWe’re seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Siemens and hospital experience to join our inpatient imaging team. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic MRI scans of organs, systems, and blood flow studies using Siemens MRI equipment. Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate radiologic interpretation and diagnosis. Maintain safety standards and proper patient positioning throughout procedures. Educate and orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists on MRI procedures and safety protocols. Assist nursing staff as needed (e.g., witness medication waste and document in Pyxis). Maintain equipment and report any service issues promptly. Comply with all hospital and department policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent (typically 2 years). Knowledge & Skills : In-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and MRI physics. Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and patient care skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. ARRT (R) (MR) certification required. CPR certification (AHA) required within 3 months of hire. 1+ year of MRI experience in a hospital or inpatient setting required.
