• And much more! Unit Overview : \nOur Medical Surgical Unit provides expert care for patients with chronic or acute illnesses, as well as those recovering from surgery. We are dedicated to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care, ensuring every patient, family member, and visitor receives our full attention in our fast-paced environment.\n\nPosition Overview : \n\nAs a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients, engage in patient and family education, advocate for patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.\n
• Assess patient conditions and nursing care needs\n
• Set goals and determine suitable nursing interventions for physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs\n
• Develop individualized nursing care plans\n
• Implement and revise care plans as necessary\n
• Evaluate patient care outcomes\n
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff\n
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies\n
• Communicate effectively with patients and oversee care delivery\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n\n
• Associates Degree in Nursing, required\n
• Kentucky RN state licensure or compact licensure, required\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred\n
