Ascension Lawrence OB / GYN is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife for our OB / GYN department, with 2 years full scope experience.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Lawrence OB / GYN to provide medical services to patients.

3 in clinic daysRotating call scheduleFishers hospital is a Level 2 perinatal center with 24 / 7 in-house OB backup for midwifery servicesOutpatient services in Lawrence, IndianaDeliveries in Fishers, IndianaResponsibilities :
Provide independent and collaborative primary healthcare and management of care to women before, during and after pregnancy, including care of the newborn.
Develop a comprehensive plan of care and discharge plan based on the assessment and integration of the medical plan.Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.Provide education / counseling to patient and patient's family with respect to pregnancy, childbirth, care of the newborn, contraception, family planning and gynecological care.Provide care in the context of promoting age and culture-appropriate informed choices, shared decision-making and the right to self-determination.About Ascension St. Vincent Medical Group

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.One or more of the following required :Nurse Midwife credentialed from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nurse Midwife credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education :
Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing or Midwifery or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.Additional Preferences
