Infrastructure Administrator

Infrastructure Administrator is an entry level position responsible for implementing technology solutions at a beginner to intermediate level. The Administrator is focused on general knowledge among a few related technologies. This role collaborates with other GIS employees to implement solutions and maintain documentation, as well as providing support for implementing solutions as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

• On call rotation, periodic 24x7 support responsibilities
• Works as a part of a team to complete tasks / projects
• Implements and maintains IT assets within a service
• Maintains documentation / SOPs for implementation
• Understands infrastructure interactions at a general level

Job Requirements :

Appropriate education and / or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

Education : B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field preferred

Experience : 0-3 years of experience in the IT field

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Network technologies (WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, Unified Communication, VoIP)
