Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a weeknight graveyard shift with current ARDMS eligibility and active state licensure required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based role specializing in diagnostic imaging with a focus on ultrasound (AB / OB / small parts)
  • Weeknight graveyard shift : Monday through Thursday, 9 PM to 7 AM
  • Performs both ultrasound and diagnostic radiology procedures on patients as ordered
  • Responsible for executing quality diagnostic and ultrasound exams per prescribed protocols
  • May participate in department policy and procedure development, inventory management, and ensuring cleanliness of imaging areas
  • Expected to maintain positive physician and patient relationships and ensure quality, customer-oriented patient care
  • Cross-training opportunities available for the right candidate
  • Maintains competency in both ultrasound and radiology exams and adheres to all relevant department policies
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

  • Candidates must be ARDMS board-eligible
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • BLS / BCLS certification required
  • Accepts a variety of allied health imaging certifications including ARDMS (AB, BR, NE, OB, RVT), ARRT (R, M, CT, MRI, N, RT), RDCS (AE, FE, PE)
