Director, Asset Management

RETS Associates, on behalf of its Client, a large real estate investment firm with over $30B in investments over the past 50 years, is seeking a Director, Asset Management (AM ), to join their team in Newport Beach, California. AM will be heavily focused on multi-family assets and some commercial assets across the West. Role will be a combination of leasing oversight, financial management and variance explanations, valuation updates, PM oversight, due diligence expertise and business plan creation. AM will have their hands in several facets of the firm and the portfolio, and work with a well established team.

Requirements :

• BA or BS degree required, MBA preferred.
• 6-10 years of experience, with a heavy emphasis in multifamily assets.
• Institutional Private Equity experience.
• Leasing experience in direct negotiations and broker oversight.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience in due diligence process.
• Proficiency in Argus and Excel.

Compensation : $200K+ base plus bonus.
