About the Role :
VocoVision is seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year . This remote position offers an exciting opportunity for licensed SLP's to provide speech and language therapy to studentswhile working from home.
As a Virtual SLP, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy using telepractice technologies. Youll also work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver virtual speech therapy to K-12 students using telehealth platforms.
- Perform speech and language assessments , develop individualized treatment plans, and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to track student progress and modify therapy as necessary.
- Use a comprehensive therapy toolkit to create engaging lessons and activities that promote speech and language development.
- Document and track student progress , maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and IEP goals.
- Provide feedback and support to families and school staff to ensure consistent progress and success.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.CCC-SLP licensure in New YorkTeacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate in New YorkExperience with K-12 students in speech-language therapy is preferred but not required.Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and other virtual learning tools.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Why VocoVision?
