Nursing Assistant / Unit Secretary, Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Sutter Health Position

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, participates in the patient / family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, basic care skills, customer service skills, and clerical skills.

Education : Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education / experience. Successful completion of medical terminology course. Currently enrolled in an accredited LVN or RN school program, or successful completion of a nurses assistant training program.

Licensure and Certifications : BLS-Basic Life Support. Preferred experience as typically acquired in : Current nurses assistant experience.

Skills and Knowledge : Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication skills and basic computer proficiency skills. Under the direction of RN / LVN, manages multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.

Days of the Week : Variable

Weekend Requirements : Every other Weekend

Pay Range is $28.73 to $35.04 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
