Data Engineer

About The Role

This role involves designing and building a unified platform to automate advertising data collection and processing. You will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines that power automated reporting and analytics for advertising performance across multiple platforms and clients. Key responsibilities include data pipeline development, data warehousing & transformation workflow development. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for scalable data architecture, automation and cloud technologies. You will work closely with warehouse users to ensure data structures are intuitive, efficient and aligned with desired use-cases.

Role Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Computer Science or another related STEM field.
• Proven, relevant experience working in a similar role.
• Strong Python development skills, particularly for developing and testing data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing ( BigQuery preferred).
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (preferably Airflow
• Proficient in SQL and data modelling best practices.
• Experience with DBT or other modern data transformation frameworks.
• Ability to use a version control system (e.g. git ) for code management and collaboration.
• Proficiency in efficiently extracting data from third-party APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
