Job descriptionProvide first assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including vein harvesting Cover call duties 24 / 7 as part of a locum tenens team See patients in the clinic and round on inpatients Collaborate with the CT surgeon in the CVOR during procedures Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks Active Nurse Practitioner license required in Virginia Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) and Cardiology board certifications required Experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, including vein harvesting, strongly preferred Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment.
