Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Construciton Cost Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • General project oversight, & project administration
  • Compiling accurate budgets & scopes of work on new & existing projects
  • developing & maintaining customer relationships
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare bid packages and participate in bid reviews and presentations.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure estimates reflect current conditions.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cost Estimator in the construction industry (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
