Job Description

  • Specialty : Cardiology, General
  • Location : Near BURLISON, TN, USA
  • Hospital Employed : Join a 170+ provider practice dedicated to building an integrated heart and vascular practice. Collaborate with established cardiothoracic surgery and electrophysiology providers.
  • Practice Setting : Located on the campus of a tertiary care system, providing patient care to the regional service area.

Practice Overview

  • Integrated Care : Provide comprehensive cardiac care within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Ancillary Testing : Access onsite ancillary testing facilities including EKG, ECHO, stress lab, etc., conveniently located within the clinic.
  • APP Support : Benefit from advanced practice provider (APP) support for both clinic and acute care settings.
  • Cardiac Cath Labs : Utilize six state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • STEMI Call Program : Contribute to an established STEMI call program ensuring prompt and effective response to cardiac emergencies.

    • Compensation Model

  • Year 1 : Fixed salary based on sub-specialty.
  • Years 2 and 3 : Transition to WRVU productivity-based compensation model.

  • 400+ Physicians on Active Staff : Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals committed to excellence in patient care.
  • 100,000+ ER Visits Annually : Serve a high-volume patient population in an acute care setting.
  • Service Area : Cover a 19-county service area with more than 550,000 covered lives.
  • Hospital EMR : Utilize the CERNER EMR system with plans for transitioning to EPIC.
