This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Position Overview

Description : Position Overview

Observation unit caring for adult patients requiring additional monitoring to determine admission necessity or safe discharge home

Fast-paced environment with 20-27 patient turnovers daily

Average length of stay : 27 hours

24 / 7 provider coverage available

Care for diverse adult population including emergency observation and admitted boarding patients

Patient stays range from short-term to full admissions

Schedule Details

3x12.0 hour shifts

Days, Evening, Nights, Rotating Shift Schedules available

On Call and Call Back opportunities

Charge positions available

Holiday and Weekend coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

RN License (NY License ONLY)

Two years of Med / Surg Experience

Telemetry experience required

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

ACLS (AHA ONLY)

Preferred Certifications

NIHSS (Preferred)
