Job descriptionMust be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. Board Certified in Obstetrics / Gynecology Minimum of 3-years of Ob / Gyn practice post residency Practice-based learning and improvement Patient care and procedural skills Systems-based practice Appropriate medical knowledge Interpersonal and communication skills Professionalism Founded in 1954 281-bed full-service acute-care Additionally, it cares for the Northshore community with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, state-of-the-art surgical and cardiac services, primary and specialty care, emergency services, home health / hospice / palliative care, wound care and other services at more than two dozen sites Not-for-profit community health system Financially self sufficient Fantastic benefits package 2 nd largest employer in the parish of St. Tammany 80 employed physician providers which include Hospital Medicine, Primary Care, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Surgery, Pediatrics, Wound Care, Palliative Care, Breast Health. 2000 babies born per year. Job Description
Per-Diem OB Hospitalist opportunity in Covington, LA Located 40m to New Orleans and 1hr to Baton Rouge Position Details
- Per-Diem
- Shifts are 7am-7am, 24-hour shifts
- Diagnose, manage and treat obstetrical and gynecologic patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting.
- Provide input in the development of standard of care guidelines for Ob / Gyn service line.
