Shift : Shift 1

4 10-hour shifts : 0630-1700, with a call rotation. We hire into our career ladder based on experience. Various levels are available.

Job Summary :

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that their goals are met and the hospital's mission is fulfilled.

Experience Requirements :

A minimum of 1 year as a Surgical Technologist is required. This experience can include Surgical Technician work or Surgical Extern experience. Note : Up to 6 months of extern work may be credited towards the 1-year experience requirement.

Education Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education, certification, or diploma is also required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course, or Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program is necessary.

Licensure and Certification :

Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required. Staff with a hire or adjusted hire date before 8 / 1 / 2020 at Level 3 or above are not required to be certified if they meet other criteria. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or an equivalent must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
