Restaurant & Pool General Manager
Four Seasons Resort L?na'i is looking for a Restaurant & Pool General Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. What You'll Do
Our Restaurant & Pool General Manager oversees our Malibu Farm Restaurant and Pool outlets. They will be directly responsible for the operations, which include, but not limited to the following :
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and manage all Pool & Restaurant employees, including supervisors and assistant managers, ensuring compliance with service standards and company culture.
- Maintain a strong and consistent presence on the floor, providing team recognition, ensuring high guest engagement, and addressing concerns or special requests with professionalism and care.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all food and beverage offerings, and maintain expert-level knowledge of wines and spirits.
- Collaborate closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Pool & Beach, as well as the Chef de Cuisine, to develop innovative menus and maintain product excellence.
- Control labor and operating expenses through efficient scheduling, accurate budgeting, strategic purchasing, and inventory management.
- Ensure team members have a full understanding of the food and beverage menus, including wines; train and onboard new employees on all standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the outlet's physical condition and equipment, making and implementing recommendations for improvements to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all operational areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and team members alike.
- Manage food & beverage programs across both outlets, assisting with the delivery of food & beverages to guests to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Support guest seating processes to maintain smooth flow and create a warm, organized welcome experience.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Participate in regular operational meetings to promote coordination and collaboration across departments.
