Additional Compensation Details :
$21.00-23.00 per hour, Depending on Experience.Potential 90-day performance-based raise.Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.Schedule : 6AM-7AM start time. Shifts are typically 8-10 hours long. Must be able to work Saturdays / Sundays and most holidays.
The Role :
Sanitation team members are responsible for general warehouse and building housekeeping and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To :
Sweeping floors, cleaning up debris in the warehouse, freezer and lunchroomsSanitize restrooms and lunchrooms dailyDeep cleaning projects as neededCleaning up standing water- utilize floor scrubber machineBreaking down boxes and recycle, operate bailer machineRegular trash removal from offices and warehouse area - utilizing forklift or riding pallet jack to empty garbageCheck for pest activity regularlyComplete daily SQF inspection logMain equipment used : bailer, trash compactor, electric riding pallet jack, forklift, floor scrubber and scissor lift.Here are a few things to be ready for (and don't forget we will train and certify you) :
Must be able to work independently and communicate with the rest of the sanitation and operations management teamsWilling to work near moving mechanical parts and in extreme cold (non-weather, warehouse temped at 36 degrees)Willing to be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather, produce-related)Ability to work in environment with a usually loud noise levelCapable of regularly lifting and / or moving up to sacks / cases anywhere between 25-50lbsAbility to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, memos and write simple correspondenceAbility to read / write / record data and perform simple mathematical calculationsMust follow instructions, respond to management directionReliable; consistently at work and on timeObserves and follows proper safety and food safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditionsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
