Under the direction of the President, Acute Care Hospital Division, the President, Chief Hospital Executive, Riverview Medical Center provides leadership, direction and administration on all aspects of day to day Hospital operations in order to achieve targeted objectives, which includes nursing and support services, medical staff / team member / patient satisfaction, medical manpower / business development and financial performance.

Located on the Navesink River in Red Bank, New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center offers the convenience and personalized service of a community hospital, combined with state-of-the-art technology such as CyberKnife, linear accelerators for cancer care, robotic surgery systems, and other resources most often found at leading medical centers throughout the country. Working with physicians and specialists from the top medical schools and residency programs in the nation, our team has treated generations of families throughout the region for almost 100 years.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the President, Acute Care Hospital Division and senior leadership team, leverages innovation of current resources and systems and explores and prepares for new models of care that support population health and positions the hospital competitively in the market while responding to the dynamic needs of the community.
• Establishes effective working relationships with key constituents, including community, employed and independent physicians, team members, and board members through open collaboration and consistent communication. Creates a greater sense of 'systemness' throughout the Hospital.
• Exhibits leadership and fosters commitment to continuous quality improvement of quality, safety and the human experience whereby decision-making is driven by data analytics to achieve customer loyalty. Works with hospital and organizational leadership and team members to foster high reliability thinking with sensitivity to operations, a preoccupation with failure, deference to expertise, resilience, and a reluctance to simplify the complexity of the system.
• Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, matrixed care transformation services, employed and independent physicians, and other affiliated services both within and outside the hospital to ensure a wholly integrated approach to providing services, and fulfilling the hospital's strategic initiatives.
• Manages and / or assists in the recruitment, development and supervision of team members. Creates and sustains an environment that fosters trust and team member engagement. Establishes clear objectives tied to department and / or organizational strategic goals. Coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Involved in the development and management of budget for assigned areas. Regularly monitors relevant key financial indicators and performance metrics, modifying business activities where needed in response to changing financial situations.
• Track, analyze, and report on relevant data and metrics as needed and / or requested. Develop, recommend and / or implement actions or process improvements as appropriate. Other Duties as Assigned : Complete all assignments and projects in a timely fashion.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Compensation Minimum rate of $289,764.80 Annually HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization. Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts. In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours / week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
