This highly skilled individual will be responsible for identifying and disabling explosive devices and weapons of mass destruction.
Key responsibilities include research and analysis of military weapons, assistance to leadership in robotics preparation and deployment, hazardous object disposal, and support to Army units worldwide in various environmental conditions.
To excel in this position, applicants must possess nationally recognized certifications, complete 10 weeks of Basic Training and 36 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, and achieve a minimum score of 105 on the ASVAB test with a General Maintenance (GM) specialty.
Required skills include electronics and robotics expertise, detection and destruction abilities, and knowledge of chemistry and biology.
