As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $17.30 / Hour

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and / or hazards within the education environment and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address security-related issues as they arise.
  • Document incidents, observations, and / or any unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to those on site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
