• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Weekend coverage assignment for CT department
• Must have KSBHA license
• Required to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
• 2-3 years of CT experience preferred
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Must be able to back up X-ray technologist when they are in the OR
• Dress code requires black scrubs (not provided)
• Work with Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT scanner
• Use Meditech EMR system and FUJI Synapse PACS
• Perform mixture of CT procedures including head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis
• Handle CTA studies for chest, neck, and abdomen
• Perform occasional CTA cardiac studies and CT lumbar / thoracic spine
• Execute CT head stroke protocols
• Scan primarily adult ED patients with some pediatric scans possible
• Handle adult inpatient scans as ordered
• Work in department that varies from busy to slow based on ED patient load Facility : This healthcare facility is a 64-bed hospital featuring a 12-bed adult ICU and 14-bed emergency department.
