Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department\nLocation : Neptune, NJ 07754\nContract Length : 13 Weeks\nShift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM | 3x12s | Every other weekend & holidays required | No on-call\nHours per Week : 36\nTravel Rate : Up to $2,521 / Week\n\nPosition Overview : \n\n"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department for an exciting job in Neptune, NJ.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Perform rapid and accurate assessments of pediatric patients with a wide range of medical and trauma conditions.\n
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.\n
• Provide expert emergency nursing care, including resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing management in Pediatric ED, PICU, NICU, and Triage.\n
• Educate and communicate effectively with patients' families, offering support during stressful situations.\n
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care.\n
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives.\n
• Float to similar units within the facility as needed.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n
• Minimum 18 months of pediatric ED nursing experience, including experience within the past six months.\n
• Proficient in clinical assessment, emergency interventions, and care for pediatric trauma and medical emergencies.\n
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills to work effectively under pressure.\n\nEducation : \n
• Required : Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)\n
• Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)\n\nLicenses & Certifications : \n
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact State License\n
• BLS (AHA)\n
• ACLS (AHA)\n
• PALS (AHA)\n
• NIH Stroke Scale certification\n
• 4-hour CEU in Stroke Education\n
• Telemetry certification\n
