Medical, Dental, Vision Start at 30 Days We love our Ryder babies and offer 12 weeks of PAID Maternity Leave for qualifying employees (eligibility requirements, including work tenure, apply) Immediate 401k rollover and contributions with company match at one year Quality Employee Discounts that actually save you Money on Tools, Cars, Hotels Worldwide, Electronics / Appliances, Cell Phones, Travel and more Ryder Drivers are the Captain of the Ship OUR DRIVERS make decisions to keep yourself and others safe and we protect your job when you do Minimum 21 years of age Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder Drug Test Must have verifiable driving experience ( must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck) : 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Must have a valid driver's license Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service. Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer Other tasks as assigned
SOLO Non CDL Truck Driver
Immediate opening for a SOLO Non CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Rochester, NY.
$798 Weekly Average- And it gets better
- Driver Positions Pay Weekly
- Hourly Pay : $21.00 Per Hour
- Hours Per Week : 38 - 40 hours per week
- Paid Training
- Schedule : 7 Day Operation will have 2 days off
- Start Time : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 AM
Deliver SOLO To : 150 air mile radius of Rochester NY
Route : Local Home Daily
Tractor Type : Straight Truck
Trailer Type : Straight Truck 26'
Equipment : Manual Pallet Jack, Lift Gates & Rolling Carts
Freight : Touch Donated Goods
Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements
6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
