Job descriptionCandidate Requirements and Responsibilities : Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology) Active or eligible for Florida medical license Skilled in interventional procedures (epidurals, RF ablation, spinal cord stimulation, joint injections, etc.) Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach Specializes in Interventional Pain Management / Orthopedic Examines patients to determine discomfort level and cause of pain. Recommends tests to determine extent of pain, help diagnose condition, or manage pain. Provides relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other therapies. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice in Florida, board certified a plus. Reports to the Medical Director. 5+ Years of experience in Pain Management and / or Orthopedics Other Certifications and / or licensing in the fields. Additional Responsibilities : Provides excellent customer service to his / her team, patients, and public Maintains an organized and clean work area Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by Medical Director Attends all meetings required by Medical Director / Administrator Participates in monthly meetings Consults supervising providers as needed for client care Physical and Mental Demands : Normal physical ability Above average concentration and high level complexity of decision making High level verbal and written communication skills Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously High tolerance to stressful situations Occupational Exposure : High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards Additional Job Qualifications : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong computer proficiency Ability to plan ahead, organize and manage multiple priorities Prior experience is a must Dental insurance Health insurance Malpractice insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Saint Petersburg, FL 33709 (Required) Saint Petersburg, FL 33709 : Relocate before starting work (Required) 25% (Preferred)
