Candidate Requirements and Responsibilities :Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology)Active or eligible for Florida medical licenseSkilled in interventional procedures (epidurals, RF ablation, spinal cord stimulation, joint injections, etc.)Strong communication skills and a patient-first approachSpecializes in Interventional Pain Management / OrthopedicExamines patients to determine discomfort level and cause of pain.Recommends tests to determine extent of pain, help diagnose condition, or manage pain.Provides relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other therapies.Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice in Florida, board certified a plus.Reports to the Medical Director.5+ Years of experience in Pain Management and / or OrthopedicsOther Certifications and / or licensing in the fields.Additional Responsibilities :Provides excellent customer service to his / her team, patients, and publicMaintains an organized and clean work areaPerforms other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by Medical DirectorAttends all meetings required by Medical Director / AdministratorParticipates in monthly meetingsConsults supervising providers as needed for client carePhysical and Mental Demands :Normal physical abilityAbove average concentration and high level complexity of decision makingHigh level verbal and written communication skillsAbove average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyHigh tolerance to stressful situationsOccupational Exposure :High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazardsAdditional Job Qualifications :Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong computer proficiencyAbility to plan ahead, organize and manage multiple prioritiesPrior experience is a mustJob Type : Full-time
