IS Application Systems Administrator II – CareOregon – Portland, OR
We are seeking an experienced application systems professional to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications that support CareOregon's business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and administer highly reliable server-side applications across Microsoft, cloud, and custom environments.
- Collaborate with application development teams to propose best practices for application design and integration.
- Manage application lifecycle : install, upgrade, patch, and monitor performance and security.
- Analyze business needs, research vendor solutions, and recommend risk-aware deployments.
- Maintain application inventory, documentation, and performance reports.
- Support incident resolution and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
- Drive application selection standards and participate in policy development for security, disaster recovery, and data flow.
- Coordinate with external vendors and manage service contracts, SLAs, and licensing.
Required Experience & Education
Minimum 3 years of application administration support in a corporate environment.Proficiency in scripting, automation, and Windows / cloud "as a service" offerings.Understanding of ITIL concepts, project management processes, and systems integration.Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration, data integration, and business process automation tools.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Mid-level Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).SQL experience and experience administering Tableau Server, FTP / SFTP file transfer.Experience in EPIC, Allscripts, SharePoint, Office 365, BizTalk, or similar environments.Working Conditions
Work from home or office – remote work is available. Occasional travel may be required.
