Responsibilities :

• Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
• Accurately reports information to the registered nurse.
• Assists with clerical responsibilities for assigned patients.
• Is competent in considering patient population specific age, developmental stages, and unique needs of assigned population.
• Maintains the strictest confidentiality.
• Adheres to all established HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Adheres to all guidelines dealing with the electronic records, charts, completed documents, reports, and other documents associated with established organizational policies to ensure patient / family privacy and security.
• Understands and respects the needs and expectations of patients and families to provide patient / family centered care.
• Uses appropriate, courteous, respectful, unbiased verbal and written communication skills when interacting with patients / families, visitors, and other team members.

Schedule : Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating 12-hour shifts : 6 : 30AM-7PM and 6 : 30PM-7AM.
