Job description12 months between Staff at Program : Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke's Health System\n\nPre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.\n\nAdditional Details : \n\nResume : Each employment history entry must include all the following : detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.\n\nEligibility as Current / Previous Employee : The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke's Health System.\n\nRequired Skills / Experience : \n Must have mother baby experience - prefer 1 year\n Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C / S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care.\n Must have experience with magnesium.\n RNs required to titrate drips : Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, Insulin drips (occasionally).\n\nPreferred Skills / Experience : Charge nurse experience preferred.\n\nUnit and facility details : Follow AWHONN Staffing Standards. 1 : 1 labor unless pairing 2 cervical ripening patients. Postpartum is 1 : 3 couplets care. Triage 1 : 3, if get up to 4pts will utilize Resource nurse.\n\nShift & Scheduling : \n Weekend Requirements : No minimum requirement. Based on unit needs and requests.\n Holiday Requirements : No set requirement for travel RNs. Regular Staff have a set holiday rotation and there are 3 groups. May work a holiday if there is a need during contract.\n\nFloating Requirements : Float to all St. Lukes Treasure Valley Sites-Meridian, Nampa, Boise in primary skill set (L&D, Postpartum, or Antepartum) or as a sitter.\n\n7 days maximum time off\n\n1 reference from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission\n\n1 reference from last 3 years (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission\n\nDriver's license required for submission\n\nCertifications : \n\n BLS (Basic Life Support)\n\n ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)\n\n NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)\n\n STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)\n Skills Checklist : Yes\n References : Yes\n License Type : registered\n License State : ID\n Certifications : Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Sugar, Temperature, Airway. 50 miles from facility to be submitted.\n\n
