As a high-performing, whole-child-focused charter school, we are looking for talented, invested Photography Teachers to join our community. We are looking for Photography Teachers to engage our Scholars in fostering a love for photography, exploring the creative process, and highlighting their artistic talents.

At Success, non-academic subjects aren’t “extra,” but essential. We expect our scholar talent teachers to be masters of their craft and share their passions, talents, and experiences in the classroom.

In This Role, You Will

• Build a safe and joyful classroom culture where scholars develop both technical photography skills and a deep appreciation for the art form.
• Teach scholars the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, digital and / or film processes, editing, and visual storytelling.
• Foster creativity while pushing scholars to think critically and conceptually about photography as both an art and a medium of communication.
• Collaborate with fellow Art and Photography teachers across the network to build a premier visual arts program, contributing to exhibitions, showcases, and making learning visible to the broader school community.
• Build a culture of self-expression while engaging scholars in discussions about photographic history, contemporary practice, and the role of photography in society.
• Participate in targeted Professional Development sessions, benefiting from real-time feedback to continually refine instruction and accelerate growth.

Compensation Range : $55,000—$65,000 USD
