Role Overview
As an Engagement Manager in our Health and Life Sciences (HLS) at Fractal Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding client relationships within the HLS sector, executing large Enterprise Business Application development-based Programs at various Fortune 100 clients. Your responsibilities will include strategic preparation, planning, relationship management, people leadership, project and risk management, technical solution design, data and business discovery, and steering coordination with our solutions teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
- Strategically drive client partnerships, relationships, and business growth in key pharmaceutical accounts, collaborating with solution teams to manage revenue and margin targets.
- Implement AI models such as commercial analytics, supply chain analytics, finance analytics, marketing analytics, forecasting, optimization, and propensity models, integrating them into client processes for business impact.
- Deliver programs with agentic AI transformation across field‑force transformation, omnichannel commercial excellence, brand analytics, marketing analytics, next‑best action, content tagging, patient service, and field‑force copilot programs leveraging Gen AI, AI, MLOps, LLMops, cloud engineering, and design.
- Bring clarity to chaos, framing problems, and working with stakeholders to develop and refine visions for next‑generation analytics / AI / GenAI / agentic AI products and platforms.
- Build in‑depth knowledge of client business priorities, challenges, and initiatives, translating these into actionable opportunities and comprehensive account plans aligned with organizational goals and client strategies to drive QBRs, MBRs, and JBPs.
- Lead end‑to‑end management of key programs—including selling, business consulting, project management, and technical solution delivery—to achieve annual revenue targets of $2M+ while maintaining high client satisfaction (NPS >
70), delivery quality, and timely solutions.
Drive daily client and account calls, representing the pharma team in strategic discussions.Develop proposals and client presentations using the latest approaches, actively contributing to business development efforts.Play an integral role in the pharma practice, aligning AI initiatives with broader organizational goals and closely collaborating with internal stakeholders.Represent the full Fractal portfolio, demonstrating expertise in AI, engineering & design, behavioral sciences, and healthcare and pharmaceutical analytics solutions.Manage and mentor a diverse team of onshore and offshore professionals, ensuring high‑quality consulting services and fostering strong client relationships.Work with the tech ecosystem—AWS, OpenAI, Microsoft, Databricks, MongoDB, and other vendors—to collaborate on partnerships, sales channels, conferences, joint business propositions, and optimize client performance and experience.Success Profile
Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Math, Business Administration, or a related field.9–12 years of experience in healthcare / pharma consulting, with comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data and analytics, and technology domains in engineering and AI.Proven track record in leading strategic engagements within the pharmaceutical industry, achieving quarterly and annual goals.Experience delivering analytical solutions to Fortune 500 companies and handling direct client interactions at VP / Director levels comfortably.Strong commercial acumen and excellent storytelling skills to map client challenges to Fractal’s capabilities and business outcomes.Excellent communication and leadership skills, engaging with client audiences up to C‑level and thriving in a collaborative team environment.Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and effective in cross‑functional environments.Willingness to travel to client sites at least 3 days a week in New Jersey / New York.Self‑driven with a strong desire for rapid career growth, aligning with Fractal’s core values : Client First, Extreme Accountability, Humble, Hungry, and Smart.Pay
The wage range for this role includes various factors such as skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting base range is up to $240,000.
