Description

We are looking for a part-time Accounts Payable professional who can assist the Accounting team with the daily and monthly Accounts Payable transactions of IMPACT Group and its subsidiaries. The Accounts Payable professional assists with recording monthly credit card and expense reimbursements as well as with state registration matters as well as year end financial and tax filings. In this position, this person will work on process improvement projects or other duties may as needed.

This position is primarily remote, working 15-20 hours a week with 1 day a week in our Chesterfield, MO office. As such, this position will be hired from the metro St. Louis and surrounding areas for reliable commute.

  • Manages the Accounts Payable process for multiple companies and currencies
  • Manages credit card processing and expense reimbursements
  • Facilitates the monthly close procedures as they relate to the Accounts Payable function.
  • Maintains vendor records and functions as the main point of contact for AP related inquiries
  • Responsible for the annual 1099 tax reporting
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Accounting or commensurate experience required.
  • At least three years of responsibility in accounts payable processing, with exposure to transactions in international currencies a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and computer skills including proficiency with Excel, Teams and Microsoft Office products. Acumatica software experience is a plus but not required.
  • Self-starter; self-motivated to solve daily problems independently.
  • Experience in 1099 tax related requirements required.
  • Ability to multi-task with a customer service orientation.
