Field Engineer I - Anesthesia-Maternal Infant Care-Diagnostic Cardiology - New Orleans
As the Field Engineer, you will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment for Anesthesia / Maternal Infant Care / Diagnostic Cardiology within hospitals and healthcare systems. Location : New Orleans and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.
- Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution, and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements; document all work performed and parts ordered.
Qualifications
Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, or equivalent experience such as GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship; or High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment.Valid Driver's License.Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.Compliance with GEHC background check, drug testing, and customer access policies.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology.Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted; ability to perform required movements and reach levels.Availability for after-hours, on-call, and weekend work.Relocation Assistance
