Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our Japanese restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently process transactions while creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet customers warmly and assist them during checkout.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments via cash, credit / debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Address customer questions, provide assistance, and resolve minor concerns.
• Verify age-restricted purchases in accordance with store policies.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and price checks as needed.
• Follow store policies and procedures for cash handling and loss prevention.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and managers to ensure smooth store operations.
