Tax Senior Manager or Director - Trust & Estate (T&E) – National Tax

Location : Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid / Remote with potential in-office requirements for client work, team meetings, or trainings).

Responsibilities

• Review complex gift, estate and fiduciary income tax returns.
• Review fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates.
• Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients for estate and individual income taxes.
• Read and summarize estate planning documents and provide guidance on federal and state income and death tax treatment.
• Research and consult on estate, gift and trust related issues (trustee / beneficiary issues, tax impact of estate administration, generation skipping tax issues).
• Generate opportunities within existing clients and pursue new clients.
• Prepare and present technical training to the specialty group and core tax department.
• Manage all aspects of client relationships.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals to complete engagements from start to finish.
