About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Compact license or state-specific license required

Must-Have : Circulate skills required, experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

Description :

Looking for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.

The unit is a 25-bed Level 1 Trauma Center.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The facility has a heavy focus on orthopedics, spine, and neuro procedures.

All service lines are included except for cardiac and transplant.

Flexibility is required for scheduling needs.

Shift times are variable and include day and night shifts.

Travelers are expected to work weekends.

The hospital is a Magnet, teaching facility with 500 staffed beds.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Candidates must be able to adapt to unit needs.

Orientation and training may be required prior to start.

Daily patient census ranges from 60-70 cases.

The unit caters to a diverse patient population.

RTO must be kept to a minimum.

No RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation.

Candidates are required to have two references upon submission.

Background checks must be compliant before review.

Candidates with a history of DUI or license issues should be aware of the facility's policies.

This position offers the opportunity for contract extension based on performance.
