Compensation : $17.88 per hour
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, or facilitate workshops and group activities for inmate / resident programs, including group discussions, lecturing, and using audio / visual aids.
- Create and maintain an environment conducive to learning and personal growth by establishing standards of behavior and encouraging participation.
- Coordinate admissions, evaluations, program completion, and termination information with staff and departments, maintaining confidentiality of files.
- Evaluate progress of assigned inmates / residents and review status to verify program completion.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent required.Sixty (60) credit hours of college coursework required.Experience facilitating and delivering work-related programs may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.Experience with custody and control of inmates / residents preferred.Valid driver's license required.Minimum age : 18 years or older.CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace & EOE—Including Disability / Veteran.
