Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio near Oxford . This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date : January 1, 2025
  • End Date : July 1, 2025
  • Shift : Two days per week (Monday and Wednesday)
  • Hours : 8-hour shifts during the workday
  • Practice Setting : Combination of inpatient and outpatient
  • Patient Load : 1-3 cases per shift

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic Radiology services for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Hospital admissions and rounding are required.
  • Temporary hospital privileges available for this assignment.

    • Requirements

  • License : Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
  • Certifications :

    • Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

  • BLS and PALS certifications are necessary.
  • Fellowship training is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Medhost EMR is a plus.

    • Facility Information

  • Trauma Level : Not designated
  • Stroke Certification : Yes
  • Bed Capacity : 17 in the department

    • Additional Information

  • No supervision of Advanced Practice Providers is required.
  • Support staff provided as needed.
  • Holidays included : New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

  • Travel expenses will be covered by the vendor.
