RESTAUTANT SHIFT LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION

Full time position
Reports to Restaurant Manager
Leads shift team
Responsible for shift operational excellence
Maintains correct delivery of Steak ‘n Shake procedures and policies

RESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum one-year restaurant experience

Able to work weekends and different shifts

Passionate about customer service and restaurant cleanliness

Ability to learn, become proficient and certified in all positions of the front and back of the house

Ability to read, write, perform mathematical calculations and analyze data

Ability to lift 20-30lbs occasionally

Effectively interact with Guests to ensure we exceed their expectations with the highest quality food and great service

Motivate all Associates to deliver great hospitality toward all guests and other associates

RESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER JOB SUMMARY :

Assigns daily and detailed side work to each associate and checks completion before allowing associates to leave.

Prepares food and delivers service as defined by Steak ‘n Shake procedures.

Coaches associates on proper food preparation and service delivery as defined by Steak ‘n Shake procedures.

Protects Great Basin SNS assets by ensuring safety procedures :

Back door is locked

Safe is locked

Exterior lighting is working

Cash procedures are followed

Communicates to management team shift associate performance, training needs and associate replacements as needed.

Assigns detail cleaning tasks and follows up to ensure completion.

Hourly wage DOE
