Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking a skilled Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a hospital in Littleton, New Hampshire . The CST will provide intraoperative support for general surgery procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique. This role requires experienced surgical techs who can operate efficiently in high-acuity OR environments.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures

Assist surgeons during surgeries by anticipating needs and maintaining sterile field

Handle instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently

Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols

Document procedures and maintain accurate records

Participate in pre-op and post-op patient care as needed

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required

NH Med Tech License / Certification – Required (pending submission acceptable)

Minimum 2 years of current CST / scrub experience – Required

NBSTSA Certification – Preferred; candidates with NBSTSA will receive priority

BLS (AHA) – Required

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols

Ability to work independently and as part of the surgical team
