Shift : Days, 06 : 45 AM – 5 : 15 PM (10-hour shifts), with on-call requirements

Hours per Week : 40

Unit Size : 12 beds

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Scrub Color : Blue (provided on site)

EMR System : Cerner

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Indiana RN license (Registered Nurse)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including open heart surgery cases

Preferred experience in Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General, Gyn, and Podiatry surgical cases

Ability to participate in on-call rotation as required

Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not eligible)

Submission of valid RN license, certifications, driver’s license, and permanent home address required

Key Responsibilities for OR RN – Cardiovascular Surgery

Circulate in open heart and general surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and quality care

Assist with operating room turnover and maintain adequate surgical supplies

Participate in scheduled on-call rotation as part of the surgical nursing team

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner EMR system

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols
