Float :  to Toulon which is less than 20 minutes from Kewanee (travel time / mileage reimbursement).

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Physical Therapist in Kewanee, IL, starting on November 17! In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through expert physiotherapy services. You will work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics, providing tailored care plans that promote recovery and well-being. Your knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be instrumental as you implement effective treatment strategies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on thorough assessments of patients’ needs.
• Conduct discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community care.
• Provide hands-on patient care, utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across acute care and outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on best practices in physiotherapy and medical terminology.
