Crane Operator - Nuclear

A Nuclear Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating various types of cranes, including Gantry, Overhead, Polar, Lattice, and Mobile cranes. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a nuclear environment. Must be able to obtain nuclear unescorted access, including meeting fitness for duty requirements. Essential Functions :

• Perform all job duties safely according to job requirements.
• Identify safety equipment on specific pieces of equipment.
• Read and use the operator's manual.
• Perform general cleanup of the machine.
• Identify components and controls of the machine.
• Perform daily service and maintenance of the machine.
• Demonstrate proper use and interpretation of hand signals.
• Operate the machine efficiently and safely.
• Perform machine setup for operation.
• Assist with scheduled service and maintenance.
• Read and use all capacity charts for the machine.
• Perform basic rigging operations.
• Perform craft-related math.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure good housekeeping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
